Tanning makes you look prettier unless you go EVERY day and make a habit out of it. I feel than its not good

Tanning is already, but its bad for you. But if your gonna get a fake tan, make sure its NOT orange.

I do both! Use self tanner, and then tan @ the salon! However, I seldomly go to the salon, so I mainly stick to my self tanner! Either way...I get the look I want, and dont have to worry about anything!

I used to go to the tanning beds all the time and I like it cause you see results right away without looking orange and you can use lotions to keep your skin healthy, as long as you dont go everyday or even once a week I dont think its that bad for you

I am a really pale person so I love to go tanning. I use self tanner mostly because everyone tells me tanning is so bad for your skin. But still, the results are worth while!!
jesi posted on Mon, Jul 21, 2008
tanning is easy for me, i just have to sit outside in the sun for about half and hour.
Aamira posted on Mon, Jul 21, 2008
i personally do not have to tan because i am already caramel butterscotch complexion, but tanning is fun though.
Desiree posted on Mon, Jul 21, 2008
wow all you people sounds like youre 12 and the only thing that matters is the way you look, regardless if it kills you or not, as long as you look good right? Sure most people are much more attractive tan, and everyone wants to do whatever they can to look better, but seriouslyfake baking is NOT the way to go. Especially if skin cancer is prominent in your genes or family. BUt even then, for example, one of my roommates use to tan all the time in a tanning bed, and yeap sure enough, she ended up with a huge tumor on her shoulder from it. She had surgery and had it removed, but theres still this huge scar where it use to be and trust me, its NOT cute! So much for wanting to look hot! YEah youre prob like, that wont happen to me....but the truth is that it can happen to ANYONE. so watch out kids! lol

i am usually tan all year...but recently i had a bad blister on my chest and it could have led to skin cancer b/c of too much sun and tanning beds. so BE CAREFUL!
